WED 463

Class began the session by passing around the ball and sharing what we have learned so far in the 463 course. We quickly transitioned into review of our group homework assignment from the October 23-24 class weekend which was an evaluation myths worksheet and a ficticious survey that we were tasked  to indentify the errors in the question format and other errors. After comparing notes as a class of what we found from our homework assignment I learned about a new site called jing.com where you may create a tutorial from what you see on your computer.
After the first break  we had a lecture where we learned about the 5 Evaluation levels created by Donald Kirkpatrick and Jack Phillips and did another question critique exercise before breaking into groups. In the group Dr. Ackerman’ assignment consist of completing  during lunch to create our own question following the guidelines from the url's we posted on wikispaces.com. After lunch we critqued each groups created questions as a class and reviewed some of the multiple choices question guidlines. In the after noon we were given our new group homework assignment which was to create a webquest to teach something that takes 20 mins or less. And create test questions one per group member on a quiz maker website like proprofs.com. We also have to complete the webquest and quizzes created by all the other groups. Sunday I spoke with my group via e-mail and skype and brainstormed some ideas for our webquest.
